i've been dreading this weekend for five months.
now i'm halfway through it and i'm okay.
my muse decided that it loves me
and i'm waiting for it to propose.
i have some of the most amazing friends in the world
and for some reason, they always know when i'm down
and exactly how to cheer me up.
i can't wait to see them again! XD
and then there's the friendships lost
where there's no point in fighting any longer
because they're just not going to work
now that there's no common ground.
i guess all that's left to do is remember the good times,
thank the Lord for the hours spent together,
and say goodbye like you'll miss them.
of course, i will.
but i'm not going to sit around waiting for things to go back to normal
it's sad, yes, but c'est la vie.
life's starting again for me right now.
new job, new people, another chance.
the past is exactly that,
and the future will come when i'm ready
and right now, i'm taking it one day at a time
just hoping for the best.
and i blame taylor swift for all of the above.
